Understanding Kelvin Temperature for LED Bulbs
The Kelvin temperature of light indicates the color it will emit, typically ranging between 2000K and 6500K. Choosing the right temperature is crucial for your LED bulb's intended use.
Lower Kelvin Temperatures (2000K-3000K): Warm and Inviting Ambiance Lower Kelvin temperatures create a warm and inviting ambiance suitable for general indoor lighting in homes and businesses.
Mid-Range Kelvin Temperatures (3100K-4500K): Bright and Vibrant "Cool White" In the 3100K-4500K range, you'll find "cool white" lights that are bright and vibrant, ideal for workspaces such as basements, factories, and hospitals.
Higher Kelvin Temperatures (4600K-6500K): Crisp, Daylight-Like Illumination Lights ranging from 4600K to 6500K produce a crisp, daylight-like color, perfect for areas where maximum illumination is necessary, like like hiking, trail navigation, and setting up camp in the dark. Opt for a headlamp with a higher lumen output in this range for enhanced visibility over longer distances.
Each Kelvin temperature range offers distinct lighting characteristics to suit various environments and purposes.
